From a 5m² pod to two homes.
Established September 2014 from a tiny 5 square metre glass-and-steel yellow coffee pod. This is how a simple idea grew — without losing its simplicity.
It started with a pod.
The Scandinavian Coffee Pod was established in September 2014, operating from our tiny 5 square metre glass and steel yellow coffee pod — giving inspiration to our name.
Everything we do, and continue to do, is built upon the Scandinavian principle of doing simple, well. In our case, this means concentrating solely on the quality and taste of our coffee.
Our heart, still.
Although we have grown so much over the years, our heart is still the original 5 square metre glass and steel coffee pod — now the permanent entrance to our building at The Studios on Royal Well Place in Cheltenham.
Two places, one philosophy.
From the original Pod in Cheltenham to our espresso bar at Gloucester Food Docks, we keep doing what we've always done: simple, well. The coffee comes first — and the room is built around it.
More simple, done well.
We'll keep focusing on the coffee. Come and have a cup, or learn to pour one yourself.
